Paul A. Tufano is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies, one of the nation's leading Medicaid Managed Care organizations, which is headquartered in Philadelphia and provides products and services in 15 states and the District of Columbia. He is also Executive Vice President of Independence Blue Cross, a full-service health insurance corporation also headquartered in Philadelphia where he previously served as General Counsel.
Prior to joining Independence Blue Cross and ultimately AmeriHealth Caritas, Mr. Tufano served as General Counsel of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, from January 1995 until November 1999. Mr. Tufano and a staff of over 500 attorneys represented Governor Tom Ridge, all 22 Executive Branch agencies, as well as 10 independent agencies in litigation, transactions, and regulatory, legislative and criminal justice matters. He was a member of the Governor's Cabinet and the Governor's Senior Staff. Mr. Tufano had served as a member of the seven-person transition team following Governor Ridge's election in November 1994.
Prior to becoming General Counsel of the Commonwealth, Mr. Tufano was a partner with the Philadelphia law firm of Blank, Rome, Comisky & McCauley where his practice focused on labor and employment law. He regularly appeared before federal and state courts and agencies.
In November 2002, then Governor-elect Ed Rendell, a Democrat, appointed Mr. Tufano, a Republican, as co-chairman of his transition team. He was a member of Governor Tom Corbett's Transition Team after his election in 2010.
Mr. Tufano has been active in his support for funding legal services for the poor. He worked with Governor Ridge in reestablishing state funding for such services in 1995, and has been honored for his efforts by receiving the Pennsylvania Legal Services Outstanding Leadership Award (1996) and the Community Legal Services of Philadelphia Champion of Justice Award (1997). He is a past member of the Board of Trustees of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation, which exists to raise funds for legal services for the poor.
Mr. Tufano's other activities in the legal community include his having served as the Founding Chairman of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Government Lawyers Committee. He is a former member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's House of Delegates. Mr. Tufano served on the Judicial Council of Pennsylvania, a body created by the Supreme Court to assist in the administration of the Judicial Branch.
Mr. Tufano serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Villanova University and is a former trustee of Franklin & Marshall College, The Pennsylvania State University (Governor's representative), Moore College of Art & Design and Rosemont School of the Holy Child and a former board member of WHYY (public television and radio). He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and is a board member of the Committee of Seventy. He is the past President of the Villanova University Alumni Association. Mr. Tufano is the past Chairman of the Board of the Philadelphia Shipyard Development Corporation.
Mr. Tufano has received the Pennsylvania Bar Association's President's Award (1998) and its Pro Bono Award (1998). He appears in Who's Who in American Law, 6th Edition. He received the Justinian Foundation's Professional Achievement Award (1998), and the St. Thomas of Villanova Medal from Villanova University (2001).
He was honored by the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (2003) for his contributions to the Arts. Mr. Tufano is a graduate of Villanova University, where he earned both his bachelor's degree and law degree.

Steve Bohner has served as the Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer for AmeriHealth Caritas since 2009. Prior to that, he has held progressively responsible positions within the organization since 1992.
As the Senior Vice President, Finance and CFO, Mr. Bohner is responsible for the Company's overall financial functions including Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Actuarial Services, Treasury Management, Financial Services, and Sourcing. He also plays an integral role in new business development and strategic financial planning.
During Mr. Bohner's tenure at AmeriHealth Caritas, the Company has grown from one product line and 50,000 members in one state, to multiple product lines and more than 6.6 million members in 15 states and the District of Columbia. Additionally, revenue has grown from $275 million to $5.6 billion.
Prior to AmeriHealth Caritas, Mr. Bohner worked in public accounting for almost three years.

Prior to joining AmeriHealth Caritas, Mr. Bullock served as Senior Vice President for Advocacy and General Counsel for Mercy Health System for 22 years. There, he provided strategic legal counsel, compliance and advocacy guidance, while overseeing government affairs and risk management. As part of his role at Mercy Health System, Mr. Bullock served on the Board of what was formerly AmeriHealth Mercy when it was an owner of the company. Prior to his work with Mercy Health System, he served as General Counsel for Greater Atlantic Health Service.

With more than 24 years of legal experience, Ms. Coggins is an accomplished, results-driven attorney who has provided counsel in both private equity and public health care companies. Ms. Coggins also has significant career experience working with Medicare and companies specializing in home care, long-term care, durable medical equipment (DME) and pharmacy. In addition to her General Counsel responsibilities, she is responsible for Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS), Medicare, and Medicare-Medicaid Plans (MMPs).
Prior to her current role at AmeriHealth Caritas, Ms. Coggins served as Senior Vice President, Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management. Previously, Ms. Coggins was with Univita Health, Inc., in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she served as General Counsel and Senior Vice President, Government Relations. Mr. Dickson brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in health care information systems to AmeriHealth Caritas.
Prior to joining AmeriHealth Caritas, Mr. Dickson served as Vice President, Information Technology, for Coventry Health Care, where he was responsible for directing the company's IT strategy, planning, quality assurance and testing, enterprise architecture, project management, vendor management, IT training and corporate systems. Marilyn Eckley is Senior Vice President for Enterprise Operations at AmeriHealth Caritas. She is responsible for managing administrative functions, including customer service, claims processing and facilities that support AmeriHealth Caritas across the enterprise.
Prior to her career at AmeriHealth Caritas, she served as an executive director and president at UnitedHealth Group, where she was responsible for growth, operations and strategic development. While there, she helped expand UnitedHealth's Delaware plan membership by 26 percent, and initiated programs to bring innovative health care solutions to the Delaware Medical Assistance and Children's Health Insurance population.
She spent nearly a decade with the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, where she was appointed deputy secretary of the Office of Children, Youth and Families. In this role, she oversaw $2.5 billion in resources for more than one million children and families across the state.

Andrea Gelzer, MD, is the Senior Vice President and Corporate Chief Medical Officer for AmeriHealth Caritas. She is responsible for medical management strategy, medical policy development, quality management, corporate provider network strategy and medical informatics for all AmeriHealth Caritas health plans.
Before joining AmeriHealth Caritas, Dr. Gelzer served as the Chief Medical Officer for Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan, a managed care plan providing coverage for Medicaid and other low-income residents in Massachusetts. She also served as Senior Vice President Clinical Public Affairs at CIGNA Corporation, and spent 16 years practicing internal medicine.
Dr. Gelzer earned her undergraduate degree from Tufts University and her doctor of medicine from St. George's University. She also received an MS in preventive medicine/administrative medicine at the University of Wisconsin Madison. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Prior to that he served as Chief Accounting Officer for AmeriHealth Caritas, where he provided enterprise-wide financial and accounting oversight for the Company. He also served as Chief Financial Officer for Pennsylvania Managed Care, where he managed all financial services for the company's Pennsylvania health plans.
Before joining AmeriHealth Caritas, Mr. Gianforcaro spent 11 years serving in a financial management role with Health Partners. There, he was responsible for overseeing various financial, regulatory, and operational aspects of that company's external financial reporting, as well as payroll, accounts payable, reinsurance billing, and Medicare reporting.

Michael Golinkoff, Ph.D., M.B.A., is President of PerformCare, a behavioral health care subsidiary of AmeriHealth Caritas. In addition, Dr. Golinkoff is a Senior Vice President for AmeriHealth Caritas, focusing on behavioral innovation to address medical issues in the populations served by AmeriHealth Caritas. He has nearly 30 years of clinical and medical management experience.
Most recently, Dr. Golinkoff was Executive Vice President of Clinical Specialty Operations for Aetna Inc., where he was responsible for clinical and customer service operations centers for both behavioral health and ActiveHealth, Aetna's informatics-based medical management organization. Prior to working at Aetna, Dr. Golinkoff held a number of senior leadership roles for United Behavioral Health.
He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Pennsylvania Psychological Association. Dr. Golinkoff is the Treasurer and Chair elect of the Association for Behavioral Health and Wellness. J. Michael Jernigan is President and Chief Executive Officer of Select Health of South Carolina, which he founded in 1995 to help low-income families improve access to health care in the state. Its First Choice plan was the first Medicaid health plan in South Carolina and has since expanded to all 46 counties in South Carolina. Plan membership has grown to more than 350,000.
Born and educated in South Carolina, Mr. Jernigan graduated from Clemson University and began his professional career working with hospital clients in 1977. After 20 years with various health provider organizations across the country, he returned to South Carolina to organize Select Health with a mission of helping families access care and stay well while building healthy communities.
Mr. Jernigan's leadership ensured a smooth transition for members, providers and associates in 1999, when Select Health joined the AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies, one of the nation's leaders in health care solutions for those most in need.
In 2010, Mr. Jernigan assumed responsibilities as a regional president for AmeriHealth Caritas, overseeing growth and operations in seven states. His duties include overseeing new business while supporting growth opportunities in his region.

With more than 20 years of experience in pharmacy managed care, his broad range of experience provides him with the knowledge and expertise to overcome the unique business challenges in providing comprehensive pharmacy benefits.
