Federally Qualified Health Center National Advisory Board
The AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies’ Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) National Advisory Board is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of underserved communities by providing strategic guidance, advocacy, and leadership for FQHC leaders nationwide.
Our mission is to:
- Advance the interests of FQHCs and the communities they serve: By actively promoting and advocating for policies and programs that support the mission and objectives of FQHCs, we strive to improve access to quality, affordable health care for underserved communities.
- Promote health equity: By addressing the root causes of health disparities and promoting health equity, we aim to create a future where all individuals have the opportunity to live healthy and fulfilling lives.
- Foster collaboration and partnerships: We aim to create a network of FQHCs, payers, policymakers, and other stakeholders that enhances the effectiveness of FQHCs in meeting the needs of underserved communities.
- Thought leadership: By sharing expert guidance on emerging trends and best practices in health care delivery, we aim to support FQHCs and AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies in succeeding at improving health outcomes in today's rapidly changing health care environment.
Membership
FQHC National Advisory Board members are leaders from the FQHC arena, including representation from the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) and senior leaders from AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies.
